Youth & romantic

This time  a  simple bed cover - easy to sew but impressive. Made of wide multicolored and narrow plain strips with two perpendicular long gray strips.

Middle vertical (on the picture - horizontal ) strip can also be set "upside down" -  its especially  worth of doing when horizontal strips are narrow. Mine are wide, so it is not twisted.

The bed cover is ca. 47 inch x 82 inch - it's due to the width of the fabric - approx. 44 inch. I used fabrics from Art Gallery Fabrics - very soft ones - mainly from the Indelible collection. Inside is a thin cotton batting - very handy for  machine quilting (but the binding was hand stiched). The back is  dark gray, the binding - light gray. Youth and romantic.
