Cleaning out the closet
The first quilt made as part of cleaning out my closet from stash of fabric was the spiral bargello. This wall hanging is the second one (the third quilt - the big one - waits to be photographed and the fourth - the bigger one - to finish the top):

This blanket was made from charm packs squares othat I had in my closet - The idea was to sew something only from the squares I already had, without cutting the new ones . Hence, taht particular color choice of colours (printed fabrics are the Bungalow collection of Free Spirit, solids - from what I had). But I'm proud to be able to make a pattern out of them, not just "sew as you go".
I thought how to quilt it. I wanted the quilting to be a geometric pattern, not a FMQ, but not with rulers (I do not like to quilt with rulrs). The squares between the chevrons I saw right away. But with chevrons itself it wasn't so clear. But finally I thought about this:
It came out great. So great that I have an impression that this is one of those quilts which back looks better than the front. It happens. The front of the quilt:
