Pixel rose

You can find a lot free quilting pattern s on the websides of quilting fabrics producer.  I used it several times. And this time I fell in love with  Riley Blake Pixelated Rose pattern: 

In the original pattern the rose is pink or yellow, but I preferred less obvious color like blue. Plus the yellow background as a contrast. But the problem with this pattern is that you can see the rose only when you stay far from it.  When you stay close to it, only  colorful squares can be seen. It's a matter of squares size. I used the size which is used in the original  pattern: 2.5 inches before piecing. But thanks to that I have a big quilt:  66 x 78 inches.

At present  it's just a top. And probabbly I will not finish it very soon, so I'm showing this semi-finished quilt.
