Star on triangular grid

I've tried a Rasterquick interfacing with printed triangular grid. The final effect amazed me:

I added  a yellow background to the star (with "Y" seam) and free motion quilting. I'm progressing !

PS. I still have to progress in photography because I cannot capture the right purple color of the star's border :(
