Practical quilting

- a handbag with a painting. The painting is a forest landscape made during a confetti quilt course. The bag itself s is my own interpretation of applied art.

The  confetti quilt technique consists of spreading  small scraps of  different fabrics on a background fabric and quilting them  through a stabilizing layer of tulle. A very quick and funny method of painting.

Other parts of the bag are made from a new and very nice fabric from IKEA.
