Two hundred squares' star
I like very much sewing using
a pixel method. It’s like playing with blocks. Cutting squares is simple, piecing them together (with a fusible interfacing) -
too. This time from two hundred 2.5-inch squares I made a star.
Star’s
background is a graphical fabric from IKEA used in the previous project.
And here is an image showing
the work with pixels. I arranged my 200
squares into eight large squares composed of 25 2,5-inch squares (5x5). I used four of them to make the star center and the other four I cut
diagonally to make the points of the
star. I pieced them, added the background, machine quilted and it’s done !
