Pink but differently

I saw a very optimistic  pink - green collection Safari Moon from Art Gallery Fabrics. I bought  our FQ from this collection, added one FQ  the Bijoux collection from the same manufacturer  in matching colours. Plus energizing  backing and binding and a soft cotton filling. And here is  a small blanket for the little girl. Pink, but differently.
 

The blanket is made from triangles in a very simple way: two large squares from  different fabrics are sewn together and cut to form eight small squares consisting of two triangles.

Then all those small squares have  to be pieced to form  a regular (or not) pattern (I pieced  them to form diamonds / fans).
