Rhombus cube quilt

I made a quilt to hang on the wall above the bed.

Each cube is made from three different tones of the same color. And cubes are in six different colors - almost the entire rainbow and a huge dose of optimism.

I pieced them using a shortcut: I cut two diamonds and two triangles for one cube. I put inside a warm hollow fiber polyester batting and machine quilted it with multicolor thread. The quilt is so soft that can be used as a patio chair pad.
