Enriching circles

This girl quilt was made from different fabrics  not used in other quilts. It was intended to be simple (only tree fabrics) but at the end it was too simple so I added circles applique. And  free hand quilting.



It is a quilt, small bed cover or a wall hanging.  Like a frame with small windows full of apple blossoms and not identified flowers in pots.

Plus circles. Hand applique and made using a cardbord template, thread and iron:





I hand quilted it - circles  around the circles and  arabesque on the borders  -  using two quilting tread : a rose one for violet on the borders and a cherry red on the flower fabrics. As always, the quilting pattern is better visible on the back side of the quilt.
