Blue, black-white and geometrical

I found on the Internet a photo of a modern quilt bed cover made of blue and black & white squares. But the project required 10 blue and 10 black & white fabrics. I manage to gather them all only using a wide definition of blues and black & whites. And the final effect is even more interested.

This bed cover consists of  77 squares.  From 1 FQ I got 4 external and 4 internal squares. So for the whole project I used 20 FQ (10 blue and 10 black & white). I like very much the patterns like this - it's easy to count the required amount of fabric and there are nearly no scraps left.

Backing is not quite geometrical but looks great. I hand quilted the quilt following square patterns.
