Blue, black-white and geometrical

I found on the Internet a photo of a modern quilt bed cover made of blue and black & white squares. But the project required 10 blue and 10 black & white fabrics. I manage to gather them all only using a wide definition of blues and black & whites. And the final effect is even more interested.

Tartan sheep

This small wall hanging was made using a Rachel Pellman quilt pattern published in Quilt Country.  Very good for practicing hand applique. The fabrics used in the original pattern were too "cute" so I decided to use cotton tartan fabrics.

Vintage fabrics

This  table runner  was made from a  kit. When I saw the fabrics, I couldn't resist buying it. The pattern: circles and squares was compelling as well.

Bed cover from the background

This project has the largest numbers of parts from all the projects made so far. And the most ambitoius as well. But I liked it so much that started to made the other bed cover using the same patterns but different fabrics.  The pattern is from Windham Fabrics free patterns and is called "19th Century Reds".
